Pat Rundgren is your choice for a slightly unorthodox tour of the Northern KZN battlefields.
Born in Kenya and growing up in Bechuanaland and Rhodesia, he has nearly 10 years
infantry experience, coupled with a love of and deep knowledge of the battles, the
bush and Zulu culture. He has written numerous articles on military subjects and
militaria collecting for overseas publications, has contributed to several books
and is currently busy with his second book, on Isandlwana. His book "What REALLY happened
at Rorke's Drift?" has been sold out.
P.M.B. Heritage Toursis an independent owner managed business now based in Dundee.
Established in 1996, we have over the years developed into a stable, reputable and
dynamic tour operator of choice.
From humble beginnings in local tourist guiding, we now offer a variety of authentic
tourism services within the 'The Zulu Kingdom", the Free State & Northern Cape.
Primarily our stamping ground has been the battlefields of KwaZulu-Natal, but we
now cover the whole province including the two World Heritage Sites of the uKahlamba (Drakensberg)
National Park and the St Lucia Wetland Park and everything between. Through turbulent
and amazing socio-political-economic changes in South Africa we have remained committed
and grown consistently every year.
